Michael, CorelDRAW has always been famous for its graphics capabilities. How would someone use it in a more technical illustration?
120
We have alot of technical features in CorelDRAW. We have Guides, Layers, Grids and a new roll-up that allows you to position an object on the page and Size it, rotate it, and/or add skew.
360
We have object data, which is useful if you were designing a kitchen and you want to put elements in the kitchen, such as the microwave.
500
You want to know where did I get this microwave? Who is the supplier?
550
What is the Price? You would put that in your object data.
590
That would be associated with that symbol of the microwave in the drawing.
650
If you were drawing the shelves and you wanted to show the customer how wide and tall they are, you would use dimensions.
760
If the customer says they need it a little wider, you simply stretch the symbol and the dimensioning text will actually update to reflect the new size.

DON: That's a new change in CorelDRAW 5 right?
960
MICHAEL: That's correct. We call it Auto-Dimensioning.
